Behind all of it is a team that leads with business sense on top of technical know-how. Alan, our president, has owned and run ASC since 1999, after leading technology as an executive at a major Atlanta company, so he speaks to business leaders as a peer because he’s spent his career being one. Around him is a group with decades of depth in cybersecurity, data, and infrastructure. It’s why our clients don’t think of us as their IT provider. They think of us as the people they call before they make a big decision.

Meet the Leadership Team
Alan Adcock
Alan founded ASC Group in 1999. A Georgia Tech graduate with a B.S. in International Affairs, he resides in Woodstock, GA. Active in the Cobb Chamber of Commerce, Alan is a lifelong learner with Microsoft and Citrix certifications. His IT career began at 17, where he progressed on to being a Senior Systems Engineer and Project Manager. Before founding ASC Group, he served as VP of Information Technology for a major Atlanta Real Estate Investment company, overseeing all aspects of its technology planning and management. Alan is passionate about helping businesses to thrive and lead with technology.
John Chesser
John Chesser is our Principal Consultant and specializes in Cyber Security and Disaster Recovery Planning. With over 20 years of experience in and outside of these fields, he's helped clients to protect their critical data across a range of industries. John's approach encompasses both attackers' and defenders' perspectives, providing technical leadership for our clients. He assists SMEs in navigating security options and speaks at major conferences on Cyber Security and Disaster Recovery Planning. John resides in Woodstock, GA, and volunteers with the Atlanta Area Council, Boy Scouts of America.
Jay Street
Jay Street has been immersed in IT since its early days, growing up around evolving electronics. A Biology graduate, he pioneered handheld computers for field data collection. Jay has witnessed the simplification and affordability of business computing, alongside increasing complexity due to constant connectivity and rising security threats. He focuses on educating others about data security; he often says, "What you don't know CAN hurt you! Jay is active in his community, and serves on the Northeast Cobb Business Association board and is a member of the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce. Married for over 35 years with 3 adult children, he's an avid reader and lifelong learner.

Alan is an active member of the Cobb Chamber of Commerce. Jay serves on the board of the Northeast Cobb Business Association and belongs to the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce. John gives his time to the Atlanta Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America. It’s a small snapshot of a bigger truth: the people behind ASC are actively invested in the local area.
